who, me?
i received a phone call not too long ago from a design firm i spoke with during my grad show.
it seems like they think i'm a contender for a position at their place! i was slowly planning to get in touch with a few people i spoke with but they beat me to it!
i was in shock and still am. who, me??
i'm kinda nervous but it does feel good to be remembered... the thing is, they're not a big or super famous design firm and they're located in langley. maybe that's why they considered me...
cuz i live in surrey? but i'm still definitely eager to find out more about them. they sound super
nice and that's always a good thing.
we scheduled for an interview on the 19th.
i didn't tell my current work about this interview. i don't want to make a big deal out of it.. cuz it's the first opportunity that knocked on my door and i don't want to get my hopes too high. we'll see how it goes. if anything, my current workplace is offering me a designer position this fall. :) so nothing's lost and i'm looking forward to the chance to be able to design and do what i love to do.
hope all goes well. time to cram to put together a portfolio.. hopefully it will turn out okay :)
