I've been looking on Amazon, for cameras to see what to replace mine with;
1.
Sony Cybershot DSCW300 13.6MP Digital Camera - 13.6-megapixel Super HAD CCD image sensor
- 3x optical zoom/6x digital zoom (35mm-105mm) lens
- BIONZ image processor delivers speed and precision
- Large, 2.7-inch Clear Photo LCD display
- Smile Shutter technology captures smiles
I like the idea of having a higher megapixel, since my last camera was an 8mp. Plus, I have a friend who has this exact camera and they're aboslutely in love with it. I got to mess with it hands on at Crutchfield yesterday and I like the size of it. The only bad thing about this camera is it uses a Pro Duo memory card -- and my laptop only has an SD slot, so I'd have to purchuse an attachment to use the memory card on my laptop. It costs about 300.
2. Canon PowerShot SD1100IS 8MP Digital Camera
- 8.0-megapixel CCD captures enough detail for photo-quality 16x 22-inch prints
- 3x optical image-stabilized zoom
- 2.5-inch PureColor LCD II monitor
- Face Detection; Motion Detection Technology automatically reduces blur
- Captures images to SD memory cards (not included)
Canon always makes great cameras. The only thing this camera has that I want -- is the price. It's an 8mp for only 160 dollars. Plus it has the SD slot.
3. Kodak EasyShare V1073 10MP Digital Camera
- 10.0-megapixel resolution for stunning prints up to 30 x 40 inches
- 3x Schneider-Kreuznach Variogon optical image-stabilized zoom lens; HD still capture and HD video
- 3.0-inch touch-screen color LCD; in-camera charging using the included Li-Ion rechargeable battery
- Innovative smart capture feature automatically adjusts settings for a great picture in just about any environment
- Compatible with SD/SDHC memory cards (not included)
One of the main reasons I like this camera is because my broken camera is a Kodak EasyShare C875.
4. Kodak EasyShare Z1275 12MP Digital Camera with 5x Optical Zoom
12-megapixel CCD for high-quality prints up to 30 x 40 inches
5x optical zoom; Schneider-Kreuznach Variogon lens
2.5-inch color LCD
Capture HD-quality stills and video
64 MB internal memory; SD/SDHC/MMC card expansion slot
I like this one, because it looks most like my current camera. (Lens wise and size) It's a 12mp. And this one is only 250. The only thing that worries me, is kodak's flash has always drowned me out and I don't know why..
(I can't figure out why everything is bolded either. My bad)
These cameras and the others I've looked at I think it's probably going to be either 1 or 4. What do you think? Any camera suggestions?
