I voted today, for McCain. I stand by my decision, and will for the next 4/8 years.

Today I spoke to my manager for the first time since the phonecall fesco, the other day. I stopped by the store to trade in my Marvel vs Capcom 2 towards Gears of War 2 (I'm regreting it. But I want my game and I has no money). He tried joking with me as soon as I came in the door, and when he realized I didn't want anything to do with the joking he stopped. I'm working all week at another GameStop (Part of this issue, he shipped me off to another store as a temp. for some strange reason. Told the manager I'm currently working for, that I didn't want to work in my store). So he asked me if I was closing at the other store, and I told him yes, And he said he was going to bring a store transfer down to that store later on, and that we needed to talk. Finally I get to tell him exactly what I think about what's going on.

I get to the other store and Alex, the manager, tells me my old boss was just in there about an hour ago. Let me step back and tell you a little bit about my old manager.  When I first started working for GameStop back in 2005, I was 16. This man was 36. After working for him for about a month, he and I started talking on the phone. I'd tell him things that were going on in my life and he started giving me advice. Eventually this turned into something more than a friendship -- which wasn't wanted or desired. I was still on and off with my highschool boyfriend and wasn't intersted in someone 20 years older than me. When things got too out of hand for me, I tried to back out -- but he wouldn't let me. He called my house phone, my cell phone threating to take the rabbit, Obi, that he gave me -- away. Finally I couldn't take it anymore and one day when he was yelling at me in the store -- I walked out and told him I couldn't deal with the shit anymore.  Luckly when I went to apply at a different GameStop in town -- I found out that he hadn't taken me out of the system so I was able to work at GameStop still.
Well apparently the game that Alex sold him was defective, and when he called back to tell Alex he was going to bring it back -- Alex told him I'd be there. (Most GameStop managers knew what happend between me and him.) After hearing that he told Alex he'd come in the next day to avoid me. I heard this and laughed. I told Alex that knowing him -- he'll be in tonight. And I'll be damned if he wasn't.

The thing with my old manager, we use to yell at eachother all the time. So around 7, my current manager shows up to talk to me about what's going on. He throws his arms in the air and just says "Alright, Katy. Lay into me. What's wrong". Right as I started to fuss at him. My first manager walks in. I'm pretty sure he thought it was something more than what it was. And to me it felt like I was back in time 3 years, and I was yelling at my old manager. I was nervous, but talking to him was alot easier than what I would have thought after what we had been through. His girlfriend came in, and clung to his arm for the first few minutes -- until he told her to go to the car. (I pretty much figured he was showing her off.)

I realize, I get into the worst situations. :(

After I got off from work, I went and hung out with Carl for a bit. Shortly after 11, I got a text from Alex telling me Obama won. I thought he was just joking since it seemed pretty early. No joke though...
