I had to go back and look at the past three years, because I don't want to rec the same things over and over again. But in keeping with the idea of works I think no one ever saw...
In Like A Substitute: One of the only Hanson/Kings of Leon crossovers anyone has written. I don't understand why there's not more of a KOL fandom--the fucked up incest pairings are even more obvious than with Hanson. I had to include a few hints of them in this fic, but they're pretty vague. Ask me about them, please! I love to talk about those fucked up boys.
Something Gold That Can Stay: Since interest in Zac and Carrick has been stoked by the fall tour, I figured I ought to include the first fic I ever wrote about them. I think? The Zaylor they slightly feature in may have come first, but this is my first full on Zarrick fic.
The Stars Have Fallen: I wrote this in around a week (although I added the epilogue later), and it probably shows in terms of typos that didn't get fixed in my rush to get it edited and posted for the challenge. But I kind of like it? It has a few little callbacks to The Outsiders, which obviously has Hanson-y parallels anyway, and an interpretation of Zac's character that I really like. It's kind of sparse, partially because of the past/present format, but I think that works?
