Doubting your Father's pride and love in you is the most foolish thing I've ever heard from you. Yet at the same time, a sign of the greatest love for him. Sometimes Daddy's don't express what's in their hearts the best. Pushing you to focus and drive yourself is done out of love and a desire for you to be the best you can be. He's trying to find solutions to you working so hard and spending more money than he fears is safe. That's what Daddies do. They fix things. Sometimes they forget fixing things isn't what's needed. Sometimes they forget a hug and words of love is what's needed. It's not from lack of love or pride, but a misguided attempt to fix everything.

Sometimes, daughters forget that they're not pursuing life for their Daddies. They forget it's not about making Dad proud. Dad's already proud and loves you. It's about living and making the most of life. Just as Daddy taught you to. Sometimes both daughters and Daddies forget that, and they clash. Remember that anger and conflict are not due to the absence of love. Only indifference is due to the lack of love. It does not sound at all as though Daddy is indifferent. He's just trying to show love in his own way. He's trying to prtect, prepare, and fix things for his little girl in the only way he knows how right now.

Continue loving him for it. As he does you.
You'll be fine love.
