I found out today about Rock the Universe. I think all of us Hallmark people are going to it together or something.
The girls just wanted to go on Saturday, when Skillet and Grits are playing, but I said that I was going Friday because David Crowder and Jars of Clay are playing and we've agreed to go both days!!!
Well, I don't think I wrote this yet, but something pretty cool happened at school the other day.
Sarai and I set an appointment with Terry DeleSantos, the lady in charge of the Honors program, and we are now both Honors students, although we aren't taking honors classes until next semester. Well, that all went well (in fact, it was great fun!), and as we were leaving, a woman was leaving the campus in the opposite direction, and she stopped us and asked if either of us were taking Pschology or American Government. Well, I'm taking Psychology next semester, so I told her so, thinking that she was trying to find information on which teacher everyone was getting or something. Well, she's like: "I just came from the bookstore, and they're overstocked. I have these 3 books from Psychology and American Government that I can't sell. Want them?" HECK YES!!!
I was amazed. A complete stranger just hands me 3 $60 or more $ textbooks!!! I already have the Psychology book, so I can sell it or lend it, and now I have a book for government when I take it next year!!!
I am so excited and blessed. What a great blessing!!!
Anyway, I've figured it out, and If all goes as planned, I'll be graduating in the Fall of 2006 with honors!!! WOO-HOO!!! God is so merciful and good to bless me so much!!!
4 months, 1 week, and 2 days!!! Yes, you've guessed it...
