(no subject)
Today was church. It went well.
Afterwards, a bunch of us went to lunch at SFO and then saw a movie. The movie was okay.
Tomorrow is school and work. Whoopee. :-)
You know what? I can't wait until I go to heaven. I can't wait until I can be with my savior forever.
Though I am sad or feel that I cannot make it one more day, He sustains me, and so shall he always.
Something that always makes me laugh but I get so excited about (sure, make fun of me! :-) is I always picture myself sitting around a table with Jesus, CS Lewis, and Stephen (first martyr [acts])--me with my coffee, Lewis with his tea, and I don't know what Stephen and Jesus will have, maybe triple espressos or apple cider:-) But anyway, we'll all sit around this table, and revel in the beauty of our savior, while discussing all of the trials that he helped us through. then we can discuss plans for a new novel or something that we can all write together and present to Jesus because it will be all about his mercy and grace. I know it sounds silly, but hey, heaven's not going to be a humdrum place... it will be a place of exquisite beauty... and yes, perfect fun!!!
Maybe they'll be a heavenly rock concert... starring David (the first blues singer). haha...
anyway, I cannot wait until that day when I shall see my Savior face to face and fall in his arms and worship.
He is the one that my soul loves and so desires... more than anything on this earth.
I love Spurgeon's prayer:
"If we think we love you more than we do, help us to love you more than we think."
Indeed, let that be our prayer--that is my prayer.
