Soooo, today is Sarai's birthday!!! WOO-HOO!!! 20 baby, oh, yeah!!!
I emailed her speech teacher who is also my Humanties teacher and told him to give her a hard time and sing Happy Birthday "K Rex style" of course he just said "Happy Birthday" but that was because they didn't have a real class and he couldn't embarrass her or anything. Oh, well. I'm so cruel... hahaha...
Well, school's oookay.
Let's see, I like voice, I like humanities, first aid, EVEN Statistics (thought I'd hate it, it's not bad)... but I detest Psychology. Ugh. It might be interesting if I had a good teacher, but he's not very good. But oh, well, that is my opinion, someone else might like him. I'm sure the fact that it's from 2:30 to almost 4 pm has nothing to do with it... haha...
For voice, I get to do this really cool Italian song called "Sebben Crudele" (Though undeserving of your scorn). It's pretty.
Then I get to do this song by George and Ira Gerschwin called "Someone to Watch over me" (from Mr. Holland's Opus), but we're "jazzing" it up a bit. It's pretty sweet.
Then I'm doing this disney sounding song called "Trust the Wind" that's like my teacher's (Mr. Stork) favorite song. Even though it's a little sappy, it's pretty.
Tomorrow we are celebrating Sarai's birthday by "not celebrating it". haha... meaning we're just having a jam-time with people at home but not calling it her birthday even though it is. she's funny like that. But it's like from 7pm-12am ish!!!
Well, I really have nothing else to write. My life is dictated by school and work these days, while constantly trying to revolve around the one whom my soul so earnestly desires, my Jesus. It's hard... when you're so busy to not put other people or things on the throne. Why, even healthy desires can become corrupt when they sit in Jesus' place. But he is sustaining and helping me with grace.
