That's because you (and the rest of the fandom, some even now) were slow to catch on to what I noticed ever since "E=MC...?" :-D
It probably helped his case significantly that he got a lot more screentime this year with Nathan's death. They're playing him as a younger, undiciplined Nathan, but with his passion, brillance, ego and attitiude. And Jo/Zane is adorable and hot and perfect. (I swear if they had broken them up at the end, between Nathan's death and that it might have turned me off for the series completely.)
But yesssssss. I love me the Zane. In a dream world? Nathan, Jack and Zane all lose their shirts at the same time. *nodnod* (Niall, PLEASE do more stuff. and preferably NOT Canadian tv so *we* can actually SEE it.)
Jack is awesome. Seriously. But after watching Colin as himself (ie in Ghost Hunters last night) I attribute that awesomeness mostly to him. (Yeah, he has some good writing backing him, but watch who he is himself and you'll be OMG I had no idea it was possible to be cuter than Jack... but he is.)
