Yay! I'm glad you decided to post this - I really enjoyed reading it. The descriptions were so lush, and the transfer of the characters to this setting worked exceptionally well for me.

Ooh that explains it. You emailed it to me after someone recced it I think. Though I'm not sure I ever finished reading it ...not for bad reasons, just got distracted as I do ...and I was enjoying it too.

Then I saw the post and thought "whoa someone else did it too." I now understand. I'll finish reading it soon. I'd forgotten about the story sitting on my hard drive. Love the movie. I bought it on DVD. :)

I'll feedback properly when I've finished reading.
