[Backdated] [Public, but with appropriate locks]

Oct 26, 2011 03:52

Worst week ever.

The city is so fucking fucked up.

[Locked to her Dad]

I am alive, not that you probably care.

I need a new mobile. And jacket.
And clothes. And bag.

Pretty much everything.

All my stuff's gone.

plot}: rift tales, semi-locked, scarlett is not happy

Yeah, it's a mess.

Sorry the week sucked for you. :(

Thanks?

Let's just say I'm glad to be on two feet again.

That Rift's a bit of a Sadist, no?

[Says you, Scarlett. :|]

You're welcome! :)

That's always good. Did it have you floating all week?

Yes, it is. Well, if you think it's sentient, it's a sadist. But it's really not, it just seems that way sometimes. It's like a constant natural disaster in our city. Well, supernatural disaster if we want to get more technical about it.

But it sucks.

Nah, lar. More like stuck on four instead.

I don't give a fuck if it's sentient or not. It's a sadist no matter what. Why's it like this in Chicago anyway?

Why Chicago?

Lar. Where from the UK are you? Ah, so you were an animal? The Rift loves doing that.

:)

WELL, it can't really be a sadist if its not sentient. Like a boulder pushing everything down in its way, the boulder can't enjoy it because it has no conscious so it can't be a sadist. :D

THAT is the MILLION dollar question that no one has been able to answer. Cause and effect. No one knows. Is it like this because people are going 'against' their callings here, making friends across species lines? Or is our denying our callings and making friends against species lines what increases Rift activity here?

No one knows.

Northampton. Got a lot of mates from Liverpool. They say it a lot.

Fucking hell, at least you can understand that. Most people can't and it's so fucking annoying.

[She likes being understood vocab-wise, alright?]

... Great.

It can be whatever I think it is. I don't care if it has to be sentient or not.

Jesus, are you like some fucking genius or something? Huh. Well. People could stop being friends and accept Callings, or whatever, like some sort of experiment, yeah? Then we could see.

Or something, I don't know.

Very cool.

I understand everything. :) Well, not really, but I know a lot of everything.

No, not a genius. Just an angel of knowledge. It's a thing. Well, they could, but I don't see that happening anytime soon. A lot of people really love people of other species, and then this whole city would turn to a bloodbath and that's only fun for psychopaths. :D

Ahh, right then.

But genius has a nicer ring to it, though. Don't it?
Might start calling you Genuis-boy from now on.

Love? What's that good for?
Nothing at all.

Of course, it does! :) You should totally call me Genius-boy though I'm really a man. :D I mean, feel free. I'm technically a genius too, and I was before I became an angel.

Uh, love's good for everything.

Don't make me sad. :( You're making me sad. Love is the best, and I don't just mean tru wuv love but love of friend and family.

Genius-boy also sounds better than Genius-man.

Not in my experience.

Not good for anything, never was and never will be.

That's how it really is. I'm being honest.

Yes, but I'm also a man and not a boy. But I'm okay with Genius-boy. It's the genius that's the important part. :)

Then you have not had experience with love. I'm not saying it in a mean way, but love is good. Period. Even when it hurts, years later, you look back and find you're better for having loved.

No, it's not how it is. You're speaking from experience, but you haven't loved or let yourself be loved like you should. When you do, you'll know.

Righto then.

I have had experience with love. And it did me no good. Looking back, it was shit. Not real.

No one breaks my heart any more. So, never again.

I don't want to be loved, because it's not real and it's a waste of time. Not happening, Genius Boy.
