Salt, sweat, sugar on the asphalt.
Last weekend was such a good weekend and I did not want to leave San Diego, but I had to because:
Mon - Weds I was in Kentucky for a conference for work and I had such a great time! It was freezing cold but it was beautiful and I had a lot of fun. I met a lot of interesting people and got to do a presentation on something I'm really interested in, so it was win/win. I got to hang out with a bunch of middle-aged men which is always great. We arrived Monday evening and I hung out in the hotel bar with our GM and some people from other companies. Tuesday was my presentation and it went super well and I got to go to some really cool workshops and I learned a lot. Tuesday night I went out with some guys from another company - we went to Cincinnati, OH through the college part of town and then we went back into Kentucky. In Kentucky we found a really cool area and found a bar playing live Blue Grass music (on a Tuesday night!). It was fabulous. Wednesday we went to a few more workshops and headed home. It was a great trip and I had a lot of beer lol.
And now, it's already Friday and I am already back in San Diego and everything is great. :)
