HAPPY NEW YEARS EVERYONE!
2011 IS GOING TO BE AMAZING, I JUST KNOW IT.
I spent the NYE this year at Knott's Berry Farm riding roller coasters with friends and ended the night at a Berlin concert singing
Don't You Want Somebody To Love by Jefferson Airplane with Berlin (pretty sad I didn't get my Take My Breath Away). It was a really nice evening, I was happy I did something because I typically don't.
2010 was a glorious year, so many amazing experiences happened and I am so grateful for each and every one of them. This year was the year I started to push my independence and I only want to further that this year. I grew up a lot and have more perspective because of a lot of new experiences.
My best friend Ashley bought a condo this year and asked me to be her roommate. I was so flattered and I am so grateful everyday to live with someone (even if it's only weekends FOR NOW) as amazing as her. She is a constant pillar of awesomeness and always pushes me to be the best version of myself. She puts up with all my craziness and always offers the best advice and is someone that I can laugh with and cry with and someone who's always there. I would be so lost without her and the reason my 2010 was so fabulous is in largely due to her presence. We took a lot of cool adventures including a wonderful trip to Chicago and I cannot wait for all the amazing adventures that we are going to go on in the upcoming year. :)
This was also a big year in the year of JB. I still find it so wonderfully uncanny that my love for them has not waned. Who knew that this would end up this way? I got to spend a lot of time with Jill (not enough but more than last year) going to a Nick Jonas and the Administration show (wooohoooo) and 2 JB shows!! Needless to say we had an amazing time at all of them (although yes, there were some certain oddities involved in the shows being the location on more than one occasion). The real reason the shows were so amazing wasn't Nick's passion or Joe's happy-go-lucky, fun-loving personality (although both of those are my favorites) but the fact that I get to experience them with someone as awesome as Jill. I cannot believe how close we've become and I thank Jonas every single day for bringing me a friend who not only understands how amazing they are but who understands me and supports me in my every endeavor. Jill is someone I can be ridiculous and silly with and she gets it and she is hilarious and wonderful and NEVER makes me feel dumb. I appreciate her and her friendship more than anything and look forward to many more adventures in JBland for the upcoming year.
As for 2011 - well I want it to be awesome and I've setup a lot of goals for myself. I think resolution is a bad word to use since the recent stigma has been that they always get broken. I don't want to break these, but I don't want to unnecessarily shove them down my throat either. These are more ~guidelines for my life~ in 2011.
♥ blog more (I need to use this as an outlet because it really does make me feel better.
♥ keep a healthy mind, body spirit (especially important in the goal of running a half-marathon in june).
♥ travel more (get out as much as I can).
♥ take more pride in myself more (blah blah blah appearance).
♥ have more fun (!!!)
♥ appreciate all of the things/people in my life.
There's more but those are the main applicable ones.
Here's to a great new year.
