So, in prep for our now 70% likely move to Ireland, I'm forcing myself to start eating some meat again. If there's one thing I learned in Oxford (uh, the food scene and not the university--I hope I learned more there), it's that it's nearly impossible to be vegetarian in any healthy way in that sector of Europe. Tofu? Not so much. Tempeh? Unlikely. Seitan? Who, Satan?

But, man...I *don't like it.* FIsh, okay. I can handle that a little. Chicken? Gives me the howling fantods. Apparently, the body gets really unused to critter protein in 9 years of vegginess. I'm glad I stopped the vegan thing this summer, but how I will ever work my way into handling mutton I don't know. Bleeech.
