I'm having a Rush Rat crisis right now. The more I research ticket prices/flights from BWI to BDL, it seems unlikely that going to the Baltimore show on April 22nd is a good idea, financially and practically. Color me displeased. I was looking forward to spending more time with my friends, particularly Helen and Cassandra out in Ohio, but the more I think about it, the more freaked out I am that I won't have a good way of getting home from Baltimore. All the flights on Southwest are either booked up or grievously pricey or leaving at 8:30 am at the latest the next day (meaning I'd have to be at the airport at 7 am or earlier) or a combination of the three. All the other airlines a similar problem. Ticket prices for the Rush concert itself are exorbitantly expensive too. I loves me some Rush (duh) but I have to be realistic. I'm not drowning in cash and I sadly have other things that take priority over seeing Rush for what would be the thirteenth time (how fitting- unlucky me :().
I suppose this is a call for advice. I'm heartbroken that it's looking fairly likely that I won't have a chance to spend more time with my friends who live all over the country. This is when being a young Rush fan without steady employment doesn't work in my favor at all.
