Here are the movies released in 2005 that I saw:

1. A Lot Like Love -- actually, I watched this for the first time with my sister the other day. It is, as I expected, nothing special.
2. Mr. and Mrs. Smith -- watching two of the sexiest people on the planet be, um, sexy for two hours made this one worth my nine bucks.
3. Batman Begins -- I actually saw this twice in theaters and rented it tonight. I love this movie. I love Christian Bale and his deep, soulful eyes and his enormous biceps.
4. Red-Eye -- I saw this twice in theaters (although the only reason I saw it a second time was that my ticket was free). This isn't a great movie, but it's fun. There were a few made-me-jump moments. Rachel McAdams in very talented, and Cillian Murphey is a babe.
5. A History of Violence -- probably one of the best movies I saw this year. Viggo Mortensen is really compelling, and the story was interesting. The film kind of messes with your head -- you find yourself happy with certain characters kill. I can't believe it was based on a "graphic novel."
6. In Her Shoes -- I saw this with my sister. All I can say is that it was way too long.
7. Domino -- worst movie I saw this year. I like a lot of the cast, but the movie just didn't work. Filled with mindless violence and annoying camera work.
8. The Family Stone -- I saw this last night. Total suck-fest. And, like Domino, I like a lot of the actors in the film, but I found it absolutely painful to watch.

That's it. There are a few more movies from this year I'd like to see -- but I probably won't get around to that until 2006!
