I just saw all those comments from Tyler and came here just to comment about it! UGHHHH. Did that come out of nowhere or were you and he talking about it?
I hate how he talks about all the "pain" post-abortion women feel. Sure, while there are surely some who feel guilt or "what-if" after (and that may be partially because of people like Tyler), what about the MANY OTHERS who have been able to live their life as THEY see fit, without being forced into unwanted motherhood by some schmuck? Who wait until later to become parents if they choose, when they are emotionally and economically prepared? Like, oh, the over 5,000 women who publicly signed an "I had an abortion" petition to be PUBLISHED in Ms. Magazine in 2006?
And as far as him questioning why pro-choice "liberals" get to "choose" when life begins--clearly, we believe in allowing everyone to go with their own beliefs and feelings on the matter. Unlike people like Tyler, who believe that it's their way or NO way. I would certainly never dream of imposing abortion on a pregnant Christian teenager who wants to keep her baby, but they would have no problem imposing 9 months of pregnancy and labor, not to mention EVERYTHING that comes after, on me. It's sickening.
I brought all his nonsense on myself by commenting on his status that said something about PRO-ABORTION...and I said not pro-abortion, it's pro-choice. Like I said, no one is pro-abortion!
He's ridiculous. I tell him what I believe and counters back with his "life begins at conception" bs, and his "dead babies" and "murder". I just told you how I feel and you come at me with all this black and white, right and wrong shit? That's my point. No one should tell you if it's right or wrong or murder or whatever. You can make your own decision. It's about having the right to that choice. It's not about me wanting to "kill babies". And he acts like I'm just some follower of Obama and I'm believing the "hype"...and that I need to do my research. lol. Thanks, Tyler...I'll get right on that. I have a brain and I can recognize the extremists for myself.
