that was my last vestige of innocence
This weekend, I realized that even idiots can get graduate degrees. Which, as I write it, sounds awfully judgmental, and that's not what I mena at all. Just, that, school is normal, and everyone goes there, and I don't know why I thought graduate studies would interest only the best and brightest our country has to offer. Also, I had to be in a group with the smelly kid, and it sucked. We are adults . . . how does someone get this far with such an offensive odor happening?
Anyways, other than tearing this degree off its pedestal, my first class is going well. It's a damn fool lot of frickin' work!! And that's fine, I like the down and dirty aspect of the research class, slogging through article after article and drinking it all in, expanding everything I know about adult ed wide, wide open. So much more to learn!
