i am thankful for my friends . . .

a lovely dinner on friday with the friends, who are all just as sad and missing each other as i am.  glad to find out i'm not being ostracised, it's just the group falling apart.  erm, sort of glad.  ego assuaged?  but anyway we had a fantastic dinner (i taught kate how to make gravy, she was so excited) with copius amounts of wine & hugs, and then watched ratatouille, all snuggled up on the couch in a big pile of happily bloated bodies.

we all drifted out with sincere promises to not wait so long to get together next time.  hope they are not promises soon forgotten.
