Well, I finally got out of the house on Sunday. Miller (Dan) called us up around noon, right when Brad was about to head to the Shoppette to pick up a bunch of things to clean up the front yard. He invited the two of us to go out to lunch with him and a friend at this place in Aviano called "Dream". It was a pretty good Italian restaurant, but it was really just an excuse for Miller, 'Biff' (Aaron), and Brad to get together to discuss how they were getting to Cortina (so they could go skiing/snowboarding). McElroy ended up showing up when we were all about finished with our meal, but we'd already ordered a pizza for him. Both Miller and I got pizzas, but I picked the 'safe' choice (diavola, or American-pepperoni). Miller, on the other hand, picked onions and eggs? or something like that. It looked sick. And it wasn't just like we all got a slice of pizza - they gave us an ENTIRE thin-crust, greasy, pizza. I'm very proud of myself because I ate all but 2 slices of my pizza (mind you, it was an entire pizza I had to cut myself because Italians don't believe in cutting them for you).

Aaron called us up that evening and asked us out to dinner that night (because we'd all mentioned that we'd actually wanted Chinese food for lunch, but somehow we ended up at an Italian restaurant). When I pulled my car up into the ass-small driveway at Ristorante Cinese, I hit someone's white van! It had an AFI plate on it, so I knew they were Americans : /  There wasn't really any mark, on either cars, and all that was really present was a nice dirt-mark (because I really need to wash my car)...no harm,  no foul. We went in and Miller, Brown (his new Italian gf), and Aaron (and his Italian wife), were all there. Brad and I had decided (before we left) that we were going to convince them all to eat at the Japanese-side of the restaurant, but they were already all seated on the Chinese-side. Once they saw the hibachi flames they all wanted to eat Japanese...so maybe next time. After the meal we all went to Aaron and Jenny's house to look at their wedding pics (they got married in September). We had a good time, I have to say.

Yesterday, the guys all left me home to go to Cortina (because they had MLK Jr.-day off). After cleaning the house I ended up falling asleep around 3 or 4. They came in sore and tired around 5-ish. I have to say that I was a bit peeved when he got home because the first thing he did was throw all of his wet snowboarding crap all over our dining room table (yeah, the one I'd just dusted and removed all the rest of his other stuff off of). I do have to give it to him though...he did finally get the cat box cleaned - Onyx thanks him dearly.
