I think that cheer tryouts -- which I have not updated about yet, oops -- went very well. I was pretty pleased with the turn out! Obviously I'm not going to discuss our actual decisions until Monday. It was a good afternoon! Mori needs to not throw paper at me when I'm trying to concentrate, though. THANKS MORI.

There were a few spectators at tryouts, which made me laugh a little. I mean, I figured Mori and Cam would come watch, siiiince...they're our boyfriends (by the way, their unholy alliance continues to terrify me), but the others surprised me. I think it was probably good for the people trying out, so they'd know what it's like to have people watching.

2 & 3 were pretty impressive. I'm still not sure about 5a but I think we made the appropriate decision.

I think 4 has waaaay more potential than we even thought.

2 & 3 were the 'naturals,' I think, and maybe 5, but again we have the confidence issue with 5 (and a couple others). We can work on it! They just have to get into the cheer mindset, I guess.

Yeah, it's just going to be USING that that'll be hard. But we will get there. Hell or high water. :|

I think Izzy was right about 1, and I think 1's going to have a pretty easy time getting into the mindset.
We're can definitely work on the confidence thing with whoever needs it. I think 5a is probably one of those, but that's going to be less of an issue, right?

I think they've all got a lot of potential to improve -- which is great, considering the base line.

Totally. And the most important thing is that I think we can trust them all to work hard.

You told me! He is definitely big and strong, almost as big as Mori. I'm not sure how exuberant he'll be, but I don't know if a lifter necessarily needs to be as perky as we are.
