I met a girl the other night who is an orthodox coptic christian. The idea of being Christian and not being catholic is super appealing to me right now. I've been looking up stuff in the Bible and according to other religions and the more I look, the more it seems like Catholics missed the mark somewhere along the line.
I still would like to believe whole heartedly that the bread I've eaten at mass every sunday is ACTUALLY the body and blood of Jesus, but there are so many other things that just don't seem right. Anywho, the search continues for answers. Or, if no answers, at least more direction.
I saw transformers today. OMG awesome. Not joking. Not being a nerd, but for serious, it was so good. It makes me want to watch the cartoons. The only problem with that is that the cartoons have the potential to really suck. The storyline is really interesting and all, but part of what made the movie so intensely good were the effects and actors.
Also, a bit off topic, I am finding more and more that Incubus lyrics are speaking to me strongly. It could be because most of the Morning View album is about a breakup, or it could be because I am more sensitive to the message. Music lost something in me for a while. I think I have become somewhat desensitized. What a shame.
I think I may go visit Scott. I still need some perspective.
