Reminiscent of an older version of iconic child star Shirley Temple, Blake seemed at ease as she prepared to get into the role of her character, Serena van der Woodsen.
Whilst in her hair prep, Blake looked as chic as ever.
Rugged up for the snowy conditions, she wore a stylish black coat and matching knee-high boots.
She accessorised the look with a purple version of the coveted Mulberry Bayswater bag.
With minimal make-up, Blake barely looked her 23 years.
And it's no wonder - the actress appears to be ageing well, a credit to her clean living lifestyle.
Blake recently admitted in an interview that she has hardly ever been to a nightclub, unlike many of the other starlets of her age.
She told Australian Cosmopolitan: 'I don't think I've ever been to a club other than to see a band or if the Gossip Girl producers are throwing an after party specifically for us to go to, or the red carpet.'
'But I have never gone out, just to go out, because I don't really find it that fun. I like to go and listen to live music and stuff, so that's when I'll go out.'
Costume designer, Eric Daman, the man responsible for Gossip Girl's wardrobe believes that she is a classy role model for today's youth.
'She's like a glistening disco ball, whenever you're around her she sparkles,' he said.
'She's a great teenage icon, you know she's not running around partying, she's never out, and she always has her panties on! She's a great role model - even her body, she has a shape you know she's not a size two or a tiny girl."
