So....
My temp job has been going pretty well. The girl who is training me has been really nice, and I pretty much like what I do because it keeps me busy and the day goes by fast. This is always good!
HOWEVER...I just found out today that apparently my old boss recommended me to her neighbor who was desperately looking for someone to replace her in this computer/toner office place. So the lady called me tonight and told me about the position. It's permanent...(definitely a plus)...it pays about 2 dollars an hour MORE...(BIG plus)...and I'm pretty sure they provide health insurance. All things I don't have right now. Also, the dress code is casual (Okay, I like dressing up, it makes me feel good, but right now my wardrobe is high on jeans and low on dress pants and we don't have a lot of extra $$$ lying around) so that's good. ALSO...after like 3 months, I will already get 2 weeks vacation! Awesome. But if they hire me, they want me to start right away. So that will mean I'll have to tell Headquarters I'm quitting. I feel kinda bad. Not for the corporation itself, but for the people that I've met this week that are working hard and helping me. How nice it would be of me to quit after the first week! But, at the same time, I really need a permanent job, so we can move out of my parents house, and so we can get back on our feet again, and so we can once again make doctor's visits and such when we need to.
So I'm going to go for an informal interview tomorrow on my lunch break. I guess I'll see what happens!
