I started to write a response, but why bother at this point? This film is going to be a train wreck. Though his backpedaling on the race issue is kind of funny. And I don't see it in the interview (but maybe I missed it, I'm tired), but capslock_atla is saying that he's changed the pronunciation of a bunch of people's names (like Aang and Iroh) and is requiring firebenders to have a source of fire to bend from, instead of using their own energy to produce fire.
