The last couple of weeks have been the best I've had in such a lot time.

I'm too tired to write a big write-up on the past week that Joe's been in Evansville, but trust me when I say that I have never had so much fun in Indiana with such great company. Joe got along so well with my closest friends--and that's so important to me; they all completely fell in love with each other.

The first full day in Evansville, I wanted to take Joe to get pho with Raul and Sonali, but the Vietnamese place ended up being closed so we went Indian instead since Joe had also never tried it. I don't think a more diverse table had ever been put together in Indiana, haha it was so random--two Koreans (5'11" and 6'1") an Indian and a Mexican all eating curry and tika chicken.

After dinner, I took Joe to the Ohio River downtown. We walked up and down the shore talking and exploring. We sat down and held each other for nearly an hour and as we were watching the sky we saw a shooting star together. If we had been walking in the direction we had been, or kissed for moments longer, we would have missed it. If I could have wished for anything more at that moment, it would only be to be in a similar situation with him years ahead in the future--nothing more, and nothing less.
