songs i absolutely love when i hear them randomly today with comments!
-Songs Ohia: Lioness (something about this song just really affects me! this song can make me cry if i am in a mood)
-The Breeders: No Aloha (this song makes me smile)
-MGMT: Electric Feel (this song reminds me of Jessieca)
-The Magnetic Fields: the one you really love (this makes me think about someone whom i rarely think about)
-The Raveonettes: Red Tan (possibly my favorite raveonettes song)
-Panda Bear: Take Pills (my favorite song of 2008 so far)
-Radiohead: Bodysnatchers (my favorite song from In Rainbows)
-Peter Bjorn and John: Paris 2004 (this song makes me really happy and dreamy)
-Beirut: Cherbourg (my current favorite beirut song which changes often)
-The Beach Boys: I'm waiting for the day (my favorite is the end "you didnt think!")
-Albert Hammond JR: Scared (my favorite from his album. reminds me of elvis costello for some reason)
-Bettye Swann: Make Me Yours (completely obsessed with this song, so fun to sing along with!)
-The King Khan & BBQ Show: Why don't you lie? (same with this one! I listen to this song on repeat sometimes!)
-Elvis Presley: It wouldn't be the same without you (i love how old this recording is. its all scratchy and doesnt even sound like elvis. love love it so much.)
-The Searchers: Needles and Pins (i just discovered that my favorite ramones song was actually a cover of this song! both are so good. no matter how many times i hear this song i love it to bits.)
-The Ruby Suns: Oh Mojave (was just talking about this band the other day, i like their world music influences! also good hand claps!)
-The Kinks: You still want me (there are a handful of Kinks songs that are amazing. this is one of my faves)
-Eisley: Just Like we do (I have really been enjoying Eisley lately. nice songs to sing along with and so pretty. i dont have their newest stuff though.)
-Built to Spill-Velvet Waltz (for some reason, this is the only built to spill song that itunes ever plays! but i don't mind. it is not my favorite (i would hurt a fly), but it is a good one. it is also really long.)
-BRMC-Need some Air (this is my kicking ass at the gym song)
-Dolly Parton-I really got the feeling (i just love dolly.)
