its my fridayyyyyyyyyy
while i was waiting for the bus this morning, two people offered to give me a ride to work. the first one was a ups guy trying to be funny. the 2nd one was a guy leaving the pet hospital behind me who asked if i wanted a ride because it was starting to rain. awfully nice of him, but of course i declined. strangers rarely talk to me because i think i look mean or bitchy or sad when i am not talking or specifically smiling. odd that two people within like 10 minutes were super nice to me out of nowhere. the quote on my coffee cup was by david cross which surprised me. usually its like maya angelou or someone i have never heard of. his quote was kind of depressing though, not funny like i would expect.
work is dragging by today. i have lots of work to do, but its the boring tedious work that i hate the most. luckily it is my friday and for that i am beyond happy. tomorrow is going to be splendid. brian and i are driving out to newcastle to eat at some sandwich shop he says is famous for something or other. then we are going to go to army navy stores and western ware stores to buy brian a new parka and some hot shirts. since i dont have to buy plane tickets i think all of this will be my treat as his christmas gift. then maybe if we arent exhausted from shopping till we drop, maybe we can see a movie. Capote is still playing, i want to see the Ice Harvest, Just Friends comes out... hm.
does anyone else think Superman Returns is the stupidest thing ever? i think i am just tired of seeing remakes. is there really nothing original to write anymore? just to be hypocritical, i do want to see King Kong. then again, i never saw the original and i really like Naomi Watts.
next top model: i owe Missy a dollar because i voted Bre would be out. if Nik doesnt win, this shit is rigged.
