back to work tomorrow?? :(
lisas parents house in el dorado hills was the perfect getaway. on the way there, we went to ralphs and bought way too much food, then ate a ton of hot dogs/hamburgers/baked beans/salad/chips/etc, drank lots of beers, played air hockey, attempted to use the sauna, watched part of the neverending story 3, went swimming, played trivial pursuit until 4am, and fell asleep watching a league of their own. today, slept in, ate some cereal, swimming, lounging and eating chips, hot dogs and beans for lunch, then driving back downtown.
now i am home, wearing a cute skirt that i got from missy before she left, and one of the only shirts i own that i like. listening to kings of convenience for the first time ever and loving it. (my favorite songs so far are 'sorry or please' and 'love is no big truth.') i need need need an ipod so i can listen to random music whenever i want without hearing about how lame/indie/stupid it is. i miss music.
waiting for brian to get home so we can go to his dads house for steak, fireworks, etc.
having 2 days off in a row makes all the difference in the world in how i feel about everything.
