(no subject)
I always forget about updating this thing. Too many other blogtypethings to keep up with.
So, my last update of any importance was in...november? Yus, just as I was moving in.
Well, I've been in my new home for almost 3 months now and I am absolutely in love with the place. Everything about it is pretty much perfect and all the headaches and delays and nearly-givings-up to get the place and move in were SO worth it. I have my new couches, last weekend I decorated my living room, I'm building a nice collection of photos to go on one wall (The plan is to cover one wall of my living room in photos of various places I've been. All different shapes and sizes, but all in the same kind of frame.), the rats have settled in well and there's nothing Beans likes more than running around on the floor, getting stuck in corners and biting my big toe. Toast prefers to find a nice soft, warm corner to curl up and sleep in.
Erm, what else has happened? Christmas and New Year were hectic and full of family madness as ever. Jonathan was here for a week over New Year and it was great spending so much time with him. I've not seen him since the beginning of January, but hopefully will be taking a trip up to Aberdeen in a few weeks time.
Work is the same as ever. I'm always on the hunt for something new and exciting and well paid but not knowing what I want to do doesn't help matters, and the thought of giving up all the leave I get makes it harder to apply for things with less days off and less flexible hours.
To be honest not much else has happened. My life is pretty boring as of late, but I'm enjoying it none the less.
