Disclaimer All characters and the pink house belong to the BBC :)
Plot: I've kind of got two plots going on really, one is how the trio react to Halloween and then the second plot is Annie getting a visit from one of her college friends who didn't know she'd passed away. Parts 3 & 4 involve George and Mitchell hoping to cheer Annie up but are unaware that she and her old college friend have come face to face.

Parts 1&2 over here

Happy Halloween - Part Three

Part 3
‘Did you know they do a singing vampire too?’ Mitchell told George looking on the shelf in a nearby shop. ‘Oh and a ghost and werewolf... Aww it’s the whole gang George.’ Mitchell smiled pointing all three out to him.

‘Oh god, that’s how we look isn’t it’ George said as the two of them stared at the trio of singing novelties, who much resembled the three kids who’d walked past their house that morning.

‘I hope not’ Mitchell replied fiddling with the cape on the vampire and inspecting the fangs. ‘They’re so cliché aren’t they?’ he said looking over at George who was pushing the snout on the werewolf to see what song it was playing. He was disappointed to hear it was the same as the pumpkin.

‘Maybe we should get them for Annie?’ Mitchell said jokingly ‘She’d love having them around wouldn’t she?’

‘She would’ George said smiling ‘although you know she’s less likely to put them on a shelf. You know she’d place them around the house, following us wherever we go…’ George started to laugh but then started to think about this to himself for a second.

He realized he’d wake up and the wolf would be there on his pillow, on top of the bathroom mirror when he went for a shave. Annie would try and find a pair of glasses to put on it as well he was sure…

‘Oh come on, it wouldn’t be that bad’ Mitchell said seeing the look of terror and anxiety on George’s face as if he’d read his mind.

‘Wouldn’t it?!’ I don’t want this following me around too. It’s bad enough the one day a month!’ George held up the werewolf at the same time as he said ‘this’ which made Mitchell laugh out loud. ‘It’s not funny Mitchell!’

‘No, No you’re right. Its not.’ he replied, still laughing as he took the werewolf off of George, grabbed the other two and headed towards the till.
‘Oh, Oh. Fine. Get the mini-Mitchell and see how you like waking up next to a singing vampire!’
‘Wouldn’t be the first time’ he replied.

Part four
Annie fanned down the smoke from the oven in a mad panic as she heard the ending credits of This Morning. ‘You didn’t warn me about this part of the dish, did you Gino?!’ Annie yelled over the fire alarm, she’d been trying to make the lasagna Gino Di Campo was making but she’d left it in the oven too long.

She’d forgotten that George had told her the ding-er wasn’t working on the oven or that it didn’t have one at all, she wasn’t sure, but either way her lasagna was ruined. Annie did a little sigh.

Suddenly, she remembered that there was a frozen one in the freezer that she could pass use that instad ‘Thank god Mitchell didn't cook’ Annie thought, He lived off of ready meals, whatever George cooked for him or whatever was in the biscuit tin.

‘I didn’t do it I swear!’ Annie called out as she heard the door unlocking, thinking it was one of the boys.

‘Hello to you too’ Nina answered unlocking the door after finishing her night shift. ‘Oh. Nina. Hi. Sorry. I thought you were George, he hates it when I set the fire alarm off.’

‘You’ve set the fire alarm off more than once?’ Nina asked puzzled

‘No’ Annie said awkwardly ‘Well, maybe, twice, thr… okay, five times! But it’s all Mitchell’s fault!’ She said suddenly remembering why the ding-er wasn’t working

'He gave the cooker ding-er thing a good whacking after he lost a game of Cludeo a while back after it went off to let us know George’s pizza was done. He didn’t like that he’d got his guess wrong and he needed to get his frustration out. It was winding him up’ she said fanning down the smoke alarm.

'I see’ Nina said raising her eyebrows, imagining the three of them playing Cludeo ‘So what are… were you making?’ she asked prodding the burnt lasagna.

‘It doesn’t matter, there’s a back up in the freezer’ she said smiling before putting the kettle on ‘Tea?’
‘Yes please, thank you Annie’ she replied
‘How was work?’
But before Nina had a chance to reply, the doorbell rang. Both girls looked at each other as if to say ‘I’ve no idea who that is’ but Annie went to open it to see anyway.

‘Annie?! I thought you were dead?!’
‘Sarah! Gosh. Hi... well, er.. I am but I'm a ghost instead! Yay!’ Annie answered ending on a chipper tone.
‘You'd died?! You’re flatmate said you’d died…’ Sarah told her confused almost hyperventilating.
‘Yes well…’ Annie thought for a second, re-thinking her chipper approach before. How do you explain to someone you're now moonlighting as Casper the friendly ghost?

‘I… I did.Come inside.’ Annie said shutting the door behind her, not sure if she was making the right decision or not in explaining the situation to Sarah. She wished George and Mitchell were here she thought to herself. She loved Nina but it was the boys who’d know what to do in these situations.

Although thinking about it, they’d both go on a rant telling her she was mad so this was her decision. Sarah was her best friend from college and Annie was heartbroken that she’d never been able to say goodbye to her. She’d mentioned Sarah in converstaion to the boys but she'd never told them how much not saying goodbye had hurt her, just because she didn't know what it was they would say or what they coudl do to help her.

‘So, what is this? Annie tell me honestly, what the hell is going on?!’ Sarah said, part terrified, part angry, part heartbroken
