Now all I'll have to do is find time to update this regularly. Not quite an impossible task, providing I cut more sleep out of my schedule. Ah, who needs sleep anyway? It's highly overrated.
So now what do I have to talk about? Believe it or not, I'm at a loss for words. If anyone who knows me is reading this - stop laughing. I do have occasional moments when I have nothing to say. It happens, really, it does. Okay, I give up. I knew you wouldn't believe me. :)
Mom's birthday dinner went well on Saturday. My back is killing me, though. I suppose 14 hours spent slaving over a hot stove will do that. I did point out to Mom that she wasn't getting another dinner like that until she turns 100. It was all worth it and there were lots of leftovers for everyone to take home. I think my sister will be eating leftovers for days. Lucky her, I only brought home enough for 2 meals. Next time I'll cook something that requires less prep time than Vietnamese food. Either that or cut down on the number of dishes served. :)
