Help me out

A while back lots of lovely friends posted tips on dealing with ear problems when flying. I can't seem to locate all this wonderful information, so I'm asking anyone who helped out with tips to post them here. I'd rather not arrive in San Antonio after hours of painful flying, even if I did tell amandageist that it would be easily cured by aspirin and good food. :D
