First of all, a huge thanks to everyone who sent me the v-gift kisses. *tackle hugs you all*
I wanted to take a minute to pimp the comm ficfinishing. I've only just joined, but it seems like it's one of the better of it's kind. You can sign up to finish a fic or to be a first reader for a fic. It's worth checking out. They have a lot of fandoms represented. I'm hoping that eventually, we can get Kane RPS added to the list. I signed up to do a Leverage fic (the whumped!Eliot one).
Speaking of fics I need to finish... I'm hoping to finish "The Roommate" before I start teaching my class on Monday. There's one Chris-Jensen-Beth scene that's just driving me crazy. *bangs head against wall* If I can get this one scene right, the fic will be finished. I need motivation or something.
I am very excited, though, that I finished my panorama icons for leverageland. Those were hard! But I'm all proud, because I finished them.
Speaking of land comms, I need to create an original character for a whedonland challenge. *ponders*
Also, I'm happy to be getting in front of a classroom again. I go stir crazy when I'm not teaching. This semester, I'm making my syllabus thematic instead of chronological. It's really liberating. But yeah. Has anyone every seen Grave of the Fireflies? A friend of mine recommended it to me earlier today as something I can possibly show in class. Thoughts?
