Favorite Female Characters?

The icon has no relevance to the poll. I just wanted an excuse to use it.

Right now, I'm leaning toward Elizabeth Burke for my answer to this question. As I've gotten more into the first season of White Collar, I've jumped on the "yay Elizabeth" bandwagon. I need to get an icon.

I said Kono because I love her a lot at the moment. But Elizabeth Burke is awesome! She is probably my favorite on White Collar. Even though I like all the characters on White Collar.

Also, I've been watching Warehouse 13 lately and I kind of love all the female characters on that show too... I have a surprisingly large number of favorite female characters suddenly.

I said Elizabeth but Diana is fierce and I love her too. And Kono from Hawaii 5-0. And then there's Fionna from Burn Notice and Parker.

I have a question for you guys on Diana. Does her accent sound as squiff to you as it does to me? All I can hear is her Manc accent with a liberal application of "american" (non-specific).

Is it just because I know her with a British accent better?

Mmm, I love Kono. It took me a bit to figure out who Diana is, because I've only seen her in the one episode (I'm about halfway through the first season). I'm told she comes back later, though, so yay!

Awesome! I'm finding more female character on TV now that I love, and that makes me happy. For a while, writers didn't seem to know what to do with women in their series.

Cara from Legend of the Seeker, but there are so many others like Erica Evans from V and Juliet from Lost because Mitchell brings such a kickass quality to her characters; Lexie Grey, Parker, Elizabeth Burke, Fiona Glenanne, Adelle deWitt, River Tam and Cam because Summer Glau is also awesome...Miranda Bailey, Zoe Washbourne, and I've only seen the first two eps of Hawaii but I do love Kono already. And I've missed loads, I know I have. Movie wise Ripley from the Alien movies because she was the first real female action hero, Sarah Connor esp in Terminator Two, and more that escape me right now.

I tend to like my women kickass, too. I still haven't gotten far enough in LotS to meet Cara, yet. :/ But I love Juliet so much.
