If you want someone to bounce ideas off, let me know. My OTP is Eliot/Hardison, but I guess I could be flexible.

Rent boys, not a favourite of mine, but could come at a different angle. Maybe something like being made to feel that they are a plaything in a relationship?

Great! I'll need someone to bounce ideas off. I ship pretty much Eliot/anyone, so I'm sure I'll use Eliot/Hardison at some point. I'm thinking of using them for the bullying prompt.

I think that would be a great angle. I'm not crazy about rent boys either, so I definitely like coming at it from another direction.

I'm also wondering exactly how they're defining "old school medical treatment." How old school? In any case, it just seems like an Eliot story waiting to happen.

I guess, if you use Eliot, you could have him in a situation where only primative medical treatment is availible. Such as a wound that gets infected and they use leeches to clean it or something. I'm thinking that he is taking a job away from the team, when he gets hurt and (well in my head), Hardison finds out and gets him out of there to give him some TLC, and the best of care.

Or something like that.

Drats, just seen that is another prompt. Umm, maybe they have to operate and doen't have any anesthetic. The partner could be there to offer comfort while the operation is going on. Need to have a think. Just off the top off my head at present.

Someone else asked about that particular prompt in the FAQ, and there's a lot of leeway--I could have Eliot (because let's face it, this story just prompt just screams his name) stranded and cut off from medical care, or I could even have it be a historical AU. I'm tempted to do an American Civil War AU...

Could be a musket wound I guess (I would be slightly better with the revolution, honest). I'm guessing that Eliot would be from the south, and therefore a Confederate?

Couple of ways I could take this. Eliot could be anti-slavery, and a Republican also.

It could work with either Nate or Hardison. Nate as a Republican doctor treating him (either on the same side, or Eliot as a POW), or Hardison caring for him, and making him consider the morality of keeping slaves.

Or something entirely different :-)
