Heroes (spoilers)

First of all, let me say that I am sick of the Sylar show. Enough with Sylar already. He's past his freshness date, and there are other characters in this show!

Okay. I missed the first few minutes, because a friend of mine called, but I caught over an hour and a half of the episodes. Here are my thoughts:

Nathan's funeral: I'll admit that I was a sobbing mess. It didn't help that the whole thing reminded me of my father's funeral. He had a military funeral, too, and the flag and artillery salute broke me up.

Samuel: I'm still finding his story to be intriguing. I've likened him to Magneto in terms of ideology and role within the story, and I still believe that. I'm interested to see where they take him. And his power is WAY cool.

Edgar: My, I like his arms. :D Yes, but other than the shallow stuff... He's an interesting character. I'd love more backstory, and I hope the writers continue to develop him and keep his motivations believable. I completely understood why he rabbited after Noah revealed his big raid plan. If they're going to have him be away from the carnival, though, he needs another character with whom to interact.

Hiro and Ando: Still love their interaction, especially when they had their little bonding moment, and Ando said, "I guess I am the sidekick." I loved Hiro's scrambled attempts at conveying his mission. LOL at Curt Connors and Arkham Asylum. I was disappointed that they dropped their storyline for the second half. I want to see them rescue Mohinder, dammit!

Peter and Claire: Nice interaction here. Peter's story is proving to be the most engrossing right now. I like the haphazard way he's throwing himself into heroics, and I love the way he wanted Claire to contact West (FB friend FTW!), so he could snag Nathan's power. He's broken but no so much that his character is unrelentingly dark. It kind of scares me that Claire is the voice of reason, though, lol. I half-expected her to refuse to share her powers with him.

Emma: Missed a little bit of her appearance, but I got off the phone in time to see that her power has a siren-like effect. Interesting. I really like her character. I do think that they need to tie her into the larger storyline a bit more, and not just through Samuel. She needs to have a greater purpose.

Sylar: I knew that stupid tattoo would reveal his boring ass crush on Claire. Ugh.

Next Week: Finally, we get some Mohinder action!!! And he seems to have remembered that he has an ability. \o/ They had better give him some substantial screentime, because my patience has worn thin.
