Poll: V
If you've spent any time on my flist, you know I'm a sci-fi fan from way back, and you also probably know that one of my first three fandoms (along with Star Trek and Star Wars) was V, both the original miniseries and V: The Final Battle. When the first weekly TV series came along, I watched that, too. In fact, V has the distinction of giving me my very first slash pairing--Mike Donovan and the Visitor called Martin (points to icon).
So since we're getting a new series, I'm curious... I know a large chunk of my flist plans to watch the new one, but have you ever seen the original?
If not, I encourage you all to check it out. Both miniseries are available here on YouTube. While it may seem dated to a contemporary audience, it has some of the most memorable moments I've ever seen on TV, and the characterizations are really solid.
