Supernatural (Spoilers for "Telekinesis")

I know only three or four people on my flist even watch this show, but I don't care. I'll squee anyway. :p

So Sam's visions are getting worse, and now, it's been revealed that he has latent telekinesis. Moreover, the Winchesters aren't the only family that has been targeted by whatever killed Dean's and Sam's mother. I'm really intrigued about where they're going with this. I figured that whatever happened to Mom Winchester was either random, or somehow connected to Dad or the family. Now, it appears that this might be bigger in scope.

Sam's really coming along as a character. His little freak-outs all through the episode, coupled with his desperation to help Max really dug into the inner-workings of Sam's mind. He's still a little hopeful and idealistic, but he's unravelling due to everything that's happened the past few months.

I like that Sam reaches out to his brother, because, again, their relationship is what sells this show. They've gone from an uneasy and tenuous connection to an ever-deepening and meaningful bond. Dean has assumed the father role for Sam now, and even though he's as freaked out by all of this as Sam, he's trying his best to be a rock.

And I love that Sam is worried that he might lose control and become as dangerous as Max.

Next week looks pretty good. It rehashes an old theme, but what's really new these days? If the execution is good, that's what matters.
