Heroes--I Am Sylar (spoilers)

Apr 20, 2009 21:39

Not my favorite episode of the season, because it highlights one of the major problems with the series--Sylar is too powerful and runs the risk of becoming a caricature of himself. (I realized I probably just pissed off a whole throng of Sylar fans, but it's opinion.)

* Okay, the shape-shifting has already outlived its charm and crossed the line into annoying. Sylar needs a serious power downsize.

* Sylar is now Norman Bates. Okay...

* Crimson Arc, lol. "Dangerous and yet ladylike." LOL!

* I think now would be a good time for Ando to shoot Hiro with the red lightning. Honestly, Hiro's constant insecurities are almost as annoying as Sylar's identity crisis. Ando is a more natural superhero than you, now STFU.

* Oh, good, Micah. Give the unbalanced man a dangerous new idea. You're supposed to be the smart one in the show, kid.

* Yes, Janice. Leave the wanted fugitive a NOTE so that if the soldiers come back, they KNOW TO WAIT for him to arrive!

* "I could come with you." Aw, Matt, honey. Go home to Mohinder. Janice screwed you over before. Mohinder has always been a lovable, dependable idiot. He even cooks. He'd raise the baby as his own.

* I will admit I liked the look on Nathan's face in the diner. Not fun having you life fucked with is it, Nathan?

* And Nathan and Peter leave Angela in the diner to lament how she managed to raise such dumbass sons.

* It's a good thing Matt has come around, because Hiro and Ando could use him right now.

* No, Matt. You don't want a life with Janice. You're just trying to fill the void in your life.

* MOHINDER! Aw, baby. You've gotten yourself caught again. Lovable idiot. Maybe he'll sleep through the season finale and come out of it nice and safe to be a major player in Volume 5.

* Oh great. Now Sylar's Achilles heel doesn't work anymore. He's too freaking powerful already!
