First of all, LORNE! Yeah, I knew he was going to be in it, but I was still super-happy when he first showed up. It makes me sad to know that this episode--if he's not in the finale--might be the last time I see his character. I hope they'll use him in the movies, but with the track record of these writers, who knows?
In any case, this had a mix of the things I love about SGA: the whole team plus Lorne interacting; Todd; plenty of action; hot guys shooting guns... This was a win in my book.
I loved the interaction between John and Todd. I always do, of course, but seeing the fallout from their last encounter was something I really wanted to see before the series ended.
Lorne was terrific, as usual. I liked his little "Tell that to Lt. Williams" when Rodney and John were debating the fate of the Wraith. A little bitterness there. I would love to see him comment directly on losing his men so often. I would think that would be frustrating and confidence-sapping.
I liked the little touches in this episode. For example, the expressions on Ronon's face when people were talking about the dire straits the Wraith were in. There was one scene where he didn't say anything, but the look on his face was enough.
Still not so much with the caring when it comes to McKay and Keller. And I have to say that I'm disappointed that we have so few episodes left, and still, we have another Keller-focused episode to look forward to next week. Hello, we just had "Brain Storm." Enough with the Keller.
Also, I liked the little John/Woolsey moment at the end. I can understand why some people ship them. They have a nice, natural chemistry.
