Intro Post
I suck at writing bios, and I'm a pretty private person. But to give a little snippet of who I am... I teach History at a university in Ohio, and I'm a freelance writer, mostly of fiction. I have an avid interest in my family heritage and am trying to compile a history for both my mom's side and my dad's side that I can pass onto my family so that later generations know their origins.
I have a few pet peeves, most of them driving-related. Also, I get turned off by cheaters, know-it-alls, people who refuse to use lj-cut for spoilers, sycophants, homophobes, and rich text format.
I have zero tolerance for fandom wank, so don't bring it onto my journal. Fandom is my happy place, and I refuse to let others ruin it for me with pettiness and infighting. Keep fandom positive!
