I was given a list of icons by kagero.
1. Okay, this one was made by lalpadme. It's Kavan Smith and Amanda Tapping from SGA, and the picture is from the SGA blooper reel. I like it because it's light-hearted, and Kavan is hot, especially when he's acting goofy. I have a general rule for posting--when I don't know which icon to use, I go with a Kavan icon. He makes me smile.
2. This was made by iconsbycurtana. It's O'Brien and Bashir from Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. I use it when people say something that takes me aback, or when I'm just without words.
3. This is Daniel and Vala from Stargate: SG-1, and it's from regale_calling. The icon makes me giggle the way the characters and their bizarre interaction makes me giggle on the show. I often use it if I'm posting about something cracktastic happening in my life.
4. This is by cowboy_hd, and it's a scene from Doctor Who. I love it, because David is wonderfully spastic here, and because sometimes you just need a GAH! icon. :)
5. This is Jean-Paul and Jeanne-Marie Beaubier, better known as Northstar and Aurora. A lot of people on my flist probably don't know this, but I wrote my Master's Thesis on representations of LGBT characters in mainstream superhero comic books. A paper I wrote on Jean-Paul was the catalyst for me deciding to do it. The icon was made by hawkenfay and came out better than any of the Northstar icons I tried to make.
6. This is Captain Jack, by deadlikeme13. He's such a handsome rogue in this picture. It's one of my happy icons.
