Sorry they got smallish toward the middle and the end. I almost resized them, because Steve Bacic looks so tiny there at the end, but my fingers are ouchy. Actually, it's technically my knuckle. And yes, I have my wrist brace on. It's not helping ( Read more... )

I was going to label them before my knuckles punked out. Let's see...

The first two guys are Michael Shanks and Ben Browder. They're both from Stargate: SG-1. Michael plays Daniel Jackson and Ben plays Cam Mitchell. Ben also plays John Crichton on Farscape.

The next guy (who's on the floor with a gun and is drenched in the rain) is Joe Flanigan. He's also the guy who occupies the header on my LJ. He plays John Sheppard on Stargate: Atlantis.

Two pictures below the John-in-the-rain one is Kavan Smith. He's also the guy you see a few pics down with a tatoo on his arm. He's also the guy in my icon, in case all that confused you. :p He plays Major Evan Lorne in SG-1 and SGA. He's also Jed Garrity on The 4400Right under the first pic of Kavan is a guy with dredlocks. His name is Jason Momoa, and he plays Ronon Dex on SGA. He's the kind of character who likes to blow things up and do fun little gun flips with his foot. I'm an geeky fangirl who likes 'spodeys and guns, and that sort of thing makes me smile a lot. So I think ( ... )

I know!! Aren't they fabulous?

FYI: Ben doesn't come into SG-1 for a few seasons. Remember that it is ten seasons + movies long. So when it first starts out, it's a young RDA, Michael Shanks, Chris Judge, and a chick. Just so you know.

I love muscular arms. It's a weakness.

Ah, ok. Thanks. I would have been watching the DVDs and yelling "WHERE'S BEN?" at my TV. When I pick up season 1 of BSG tomorrow, I might look for Farscape, too. With those DVDs, and the unwatched Norton and Downey movies, I won't be on LJ a lot. Hahaha.

When you get to SG-1, you could probably start with Season 9 without being too confused. It's a great season, imho.

Farscape is goofy, but it's good. ;) I should warn you about the puppets now.

Question! (The first of many!) Did Stargate: Atlantis, then become SG-1 started, or are they 2 separate series?

Puppets? AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! lol

Stargate: SG-1 is the original series. It came from the movie, Stargate (which started Kurt Russell and James Spader). RDA and Michael Shanks took over the roles played by those guys. After 7 seasons of SG-1, they decided to start the spin off, Stargate: Atlantis. SG-1 continued through its 10th season. They're two separate series, but many of the actors have appeared on both shows once in a while. There are also two new films that star the SG-1 characters.

They are both fantastic shows but SGA has a slightly different feel.

Ben comes in at the beginning of Season 9 to take up the space left by RDA. If you decide to start with that season, let me know, and I'll give you a primer on what came before. But the earlier seasons are well worth watching. I highly recommend them. Granted, Season 1 can be silly, but Seasons 2-5 and 7-10 are fantastic. The characters are likable, and the writing is good. SG-1 is the longest running sci-fi series in North America for reason. ;)

Dear God, I sound like such a sci-fi geek, lol.
