1. What did you do in 2007 that you'd never done before? Got rejected by a really big publication, starting teaching my own history classes at the university, went to the McKinley Monument in Canton, helped organize a family reunion.
2. Did you keep your New Years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year? I don't make New Years' resolutions.

17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
a) happier or sadder? I would say "sadder," but I'm really just disappointed in a couple of people. Otherwise, I'm pretty happy.
b) thinner or fatter? About the same
c) richer or poorer? Eh. I'm a teacher and a struggling writer.
18. What do you wish you'd done more of? Writing. In the fray of real life, my writing (both original and fanfic) seemed to get less and less of my time.
19. What do you wish you'd done less of? I should have spent less time letting other people play with my self-confidence and make me feel like a second-class citizen. I wasted too much time worrying about other people, even though my life experience has told me not to do that.

39. Quote a song lyric that sums up your year:
And I want a moment to be real,
Wanna touch things I don't feel,
Wanna hold on and feel I belong.
And how can the world want me to change,
They’re the ones that stay the same.
They can’t see me,
But I’m still here.
They can’t tell me who to be,
‘Cause I’m not what they see.
And the world is still sleepin’,
While I keep on dreamin’ for me.
And their words are just whispers
And lies that I’ll never believe.
And I want a moment to be real,
Wanna touch things I don't feel,
Wanna hold on and feel I belong.
And how can they say I never change
They’re the ones that stay the same.
I’m the one now,
‘Cause I’m still here.
