But I digress. I just got done tearing my apartment apart in an attempt to find a book of historical documents from the Renaissance to the Cold War. I never found the document book, but I did find two of my cookbooks and my the Christmas ornaments my mom made when I was a kid.
I love to cook, but I'm one of those people who needs some kind of structure to follow. I'm not a "wing it" kind of gal in the kitchen. I'm trying to find some stuff I can take to work next semester so I don't have to spend money on lunch/eat greasy college food.
As for the ornaments, I'll probably put them up tonight. They're super cute. My mom is scary creative (which is common in people with schizophrenia, I guess).
I got a call from the uncle today. He was calling to make sure I wasn't out on the roads, seeing as how they were slippery. I had no idea what he was talking about, because I'd been out earlier, and it was fine. Baffled by his call, I looked outside and discovered a blizzard. :o
Also, is anyone else anal retentive about their LJ tags? I spent a chunk of today going through my old posts and making sure they're all tagged. I also eliminated redundant tags (if I had both movie and movies, etc.) and made sure all celebrities are tagged by their full names.
Right. Now I'm going to go make a soft pretzel.
