Tonight's CSI

Woot!

What I loved about this episode was the interaction between Warrick and his teammates. I've said for years that this is a team show, and without the element of team, you don't have that thing that makes CSI unique. I was really touched when Warrick mentioned the effect Sara's departure has had on him personally.

The Warrick/Grissom interaction hearkened back to season one. You could see the concern Grissom had for Rick, but at the same time, there was an undercurrent of frustration on Grissom's part that his friend would be so close to tanking his career.

My favorite bit of the whole episode was when Nick confronted Warrick about his drug use. First of all Caring!Nick is hot. (Shut up. I'm shallow.) Additionally, the Nick/Warrick rapport is one of the things I've really been missing in the episodes. Their friendship was always so strong, but I haven't really seen evidence of that since "Grave Danger." So woot!

I did want to smack Warrick most of the episode, though. Where are your brains, dude??

Also, Greg and his mob research is... so Greg. It just fits perfectly.
