Ghosts and Vampires
Here are my rambling comments about tonight's lovely shows:
Okay, when I was a kid, the Bloody Mary legend scared the crap out of me. Who am I kidding? It still does. I'm a wuss. Anyway, I this episode actually freaked me out. And the ending? Eek!!!
Am I the only person who thinks Hot Hall of Records Ghost is really not such a bad guy? That he's just fallen in with the wrong crowd? It looks like he's going to be Melinda's regular contact with the spirit world, and it also seems we're going to get a lot of Grandview's history this season.
Okay, first of all, I'm thrilled that Beth has already found out Mick is a vampire. I was afraid they'd drag it out and have her wandering around each episode wondering what her special male friend is hiding. Kind of like Lois Lane. Getting the secret out in the open this soon, though, will allow for some wonderful interaction.
Speaking of interaction, much love for Mick/Josef. I know we're "supposed" to ship Mick/Beth, but I think Mick and Josef make far more sense. And to be perfectly honest, it kind of creeps me out that Mick knew Beth when she was still young enough for Flintstones vitamins.
And OMG! The Duran Duran scene! Who else thought it looked like a good set-up for a Mick/Josef fanfic?
All in all, it was a fantastic episode.
