Well, on a lot of sites, I use the name, "lament." When I joined LJ, I discovered that there was already a lament registered, so I couldn't use the name, so I had to come up with another name rather quickly. I chose "sheryden," a name I've used as an alter-ego for a while? So why sheryden? Well, I'd like to say that there is a great story or some deeply historical significance to it, but sadly there's not. I'm actually not sure why I settled on sheryden all those years ago. I think it was just an off-the-cuff spelling of Sheridan.
