Yes, I'm still alive
First of all, what the fuck has LJ done to itself now? I hate these stupid new posting forms. STOP CHANGING THINGS LJ.
Okay, so this last semester was brutal in terms of time and emotional stress. I'm frustrated and exhausted. It feels like I never have time to interact with anyone on a regular basis anymore, and I feel completely disconnected. I have very little idea what is going on in the Leverage or Kane fandoms (fill me in, people).
I can access Facebook at work, so I did join a Kane/Leverage group, but some of those people... try my patience. I can't even ask a simple question without getting attitude. I don't really feel comfortable with those people, sad to say.
Also, I recently uncovered something about my family history that I'm still processing. My 5 times great grandmother was held captive by Wyandot Indians for three years. She lost four of her children, and was taken abducted. She was released when an intermediary finally arranged for her release. And the really amazing part? Her husband waited for her, refusing to believe she was dead. Wow.
ALSO. Has anyone seen The Donner Party? Is it worth me buying?
